2 abusive clauses that you should not allow under the law in long-term rentals

Demand your rights, some unfairs are often committed in long term rentals.

The landlord who requires several months of deposit and payments of monthly payments in advance are prohibited by law.

Spanish law only allows you to request one month of deposit and a maximum of two months rent as additional guarantee, this additional guarantee is not the usual deposit and can be applied to the payment of rent, not as the guarantee itself.

On the other hand, asking for the advance payment of several monthly rentals is not allowed by spanish Law, these must be paid month by month and no al year or some months up front.
